This song is about codependency. The studio engineer for this song called this song "creepy." Like most of my songs, I started with a title and then wrote the song. I thought "Grave Love" was an excellent title for a song and it wasn't hard for me to find inspiration to write it. Being an empath and a natural caregiver, it isn't hard for me to fall into the fawn response to trauma and sink into the quicksands of codependency.
